Uttappam Recipe

 

Ingredients:- 1 cup whole wheat flour

– 1/2 cup semolina

– 1/2 cup yogurt

– 1/2 cup water

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp ajwian + jeera / rai (tadka)

– Veggies: chopped onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach

– 1 tsp ghee for cooking

 

Instructions:1. Mix flour, semolina, yogurt, water, salt, and veggies if desired . Rest for 10 mins.

  1. Add veggies and mix well.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan, grease with ghee.
  3. Pour a ladle of batter, spread into a circle.
  4. Cook on medium heat, flip when bubbles appear.
  5. Cook till golden brown, serve with protein-rich chutney or curd.
