BOILED RAJMAH CHAAT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups cooked Rajma
  • Finely chopped cucumber OR ZUCCINI – ½ cup
  • 1 Onion  finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato  finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala Powder
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • ½ tsp roasted jeera pwdr
  • 2 or 3 tsp or as required Lemon juice
  • Finely  chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • METHOD
  • Soak the rajma overnight and pressure cook them with water + salt till the first whistle on medium flame .Now lower the flame and cook for 10 mins .
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally. The rajma should be soft and cooked , not mushy .
  • If there was is any water, drain the excess water and keep the rajma aside,
  • Into a mixing bowl, take all the ingredients one by one .
  • Mix well to combine the rajma salad/chaat.
  • Taste and adjust to taste and enjoy your rajmah chaat.
