VEG SUJI UTTAPAM

 

FOR BATTER:

  • 1 cup rawa , coarsely ground
  • ½ cup curd
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ cup water

 

FOR TOPPING:

  • 1 onion , finely chopped
  • ½ capsicum , finely chopped
  • 1 carrot , grated
  • ▢1 tomato , finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander , finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger , finely chopped
  • 1 chilli , finely chopped
  • few curry leaves , chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt

 

INSTRUCTION

  1. firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup rava, ½ cup curd and ¾ tsp salt.
  2. Now mix everything well.
  3. After that add ½ cup of water and mix well.
  4. Now keep it for 20 minutes or till the rava absorbs the water.
  5. Now check its consistency and if necessary, add water as required.
  6. Now prepare the vegetable topping by finely chopping 1 onion, ½ capsicum, 1 carrot and 1 tomato.
  7. also add 2 tbsp coriander, 1 inch ginger, 1 chilli, few curry leaves and ¼ tsp salt.
  8. Now mix everything well.
  9. Now make small uttapams from the rava batter.
  10. Now place the prepared topping on them with a tablespoon and press lightly.
  11. Now pour one tsp oil all around the uttapam.
  12. Cover and cook for a minute or till the uttapam is cooked well.
  13. Now turn it over and cook on both the sides.
  14. finally enjoy instant rava uttapam with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
