veg dalia

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup broken wheat (dalia)
  2. 1 cup mixed vegetables (onion , beans, capsicum )
  3. 2 cups water
  4. 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
  5. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  6. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Fresh coriander for garnish

 

Instructions1. Rinse the dalia and soak it for 30 minutes.

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat ghee or oil and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add ginger paste and mixed vegetables, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add soaked dalia, water, and salt. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  4. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve.
