Shalgam Sabzi:
Ingredients1. 2 medium turnips, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh coriander , chopped (for garnish)
Instructions1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle.
- Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add turnips and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add a little water and cover the pan. Cook until turnips are tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
