Sooji cheela:

 

Ingredients1. 1 cup sooji (semolina)

  1. 1/2 cup yogurt
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  8. 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
  9. Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)

 

Instructions1. Mix sooji, yogurt, and water to make a smooth batter. Rest for 10-15 minutes.

  1. Add chopped onion, tomato, salt, black pepper, and cumin powder. Mix well.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and grease with ghee or oil.
  3. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a circle.
  4. Cook on medium heat until golden brown.
  5. Flip and cook the other side.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
