Sooji cheela:
Ingredients1. 1 cup sooji (semolina)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)
Instructions1. Mix sooji, yogurt, and water to make a smooth batter. Rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Add chopped onion, tomato, salt, black pepper, and cumin powder. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan and grease with ghee or oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a circle.
- Cook on medium heat until golden brown.
- Flip and cook the other side.
- Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
