paneer wheat momos

Ingredients

For the dough:

 

  1. Whole wheat flour: 2 cups
  2. Water: as needed
  3. Salt: to taste

 

For the filling:

 

  1. Paneer: 1 cup, crumbled
  2. Onions: 1 medium, finely chopped
  3. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
  4. Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Salt: to taste
  7. Chopped coriander: for garnish

 

Instructions

  1. Make the dough: Mix whole wheat flour, salt, and water to form a dough. Knead and rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the filling: Mix crumbled paneer, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  3. Shape the momos: Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out each ball into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center.
  4. Fold and seal: Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  5. Steam the momos: Steam the momos for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve: Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
