paneer wheat momos
Ingredients
For the dough:
- Whole wheat flour: 2 cups
- Water: as needed
- Salt: to taste
For the filling:
- Paneer: 1 cup, crumbled
- Onions: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste
- Chopped coriander: for garnish
Instructions
- Make the dough: Mix whole wheat flour, salt, and water to form a dough. Knead and rest for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling: Mix crumbled paneer, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Shape the momos: Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out each ball into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center.
- Fold and seal: Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
- Steam the momos: Steam the momos for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve: Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
