Oats Dosa:

 

Ingredients

– 1 cup rolled oats

– 1/2 cup rice flour

– 1/2 cup water

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

– 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

– Optional: chopped onions, cumin seeds, or coriander leaves for added flavor

 

Instructions

  1. Soak the oats: Soak the oats in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Grind the oats: Grind the soaked oats into a smooth paste using a blender or grinder.
  3. Mix with rice flour: Mix the oats paste with rice flour, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Add water: Add water to the mixture to form a smooth batter.
  5. Rest the batter: Rest the batter for at least 30 minutes to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan: Heat a non-stick pan or dosa pan over medium heat.
  7. Pour the batter: Pour the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin layer.
  8. Cook the dosa: Cook the dosa for 1-2 minutes on each side, until it’s golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve with chutney or sambar: Serve the oats dosa with your favorite chutney or sambar.
