Milk oats recipe:

 

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup rolled oats
  2. 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  3. 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener (optional)
  4. Optional toppings: fruits, seeds

 

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring the milk to a simmer.
  2. Add oats and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Cook until oats are creamy and tender (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Add honey or brown sugar , if desired.
  5. Serve warm or chilled with your favorite toppings of fruits ( apple , berries or pumpkin / sunflower seeds).
