Milk oats recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener (optional)
- Optional toppings: fruits, seeds
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the milk to a simmer.
- Add oats and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Cook until oats are creamy and tender (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add honey or brown sugar , if desired.
- Serve warm or chilled with your favorite toppings of fruits ( apple , berries or pumpkin / sunflower seeds).
