Makhana Chaat

 

Ingredients:

 

– 1 cup roasted makhana (fox nuts)

– 1 small onion, finely chopped

– 1 small tomato, finely chopped(not in night)

– 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)

– 1/2 cucumber, diced (optional for crunch)

– 1 tsp lemon juice (not in night)

– 1/2 tsp chaat masala (not in night)

– Pinch of black salt & black pepper

– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

 

Method:

 

  1. Roast makhana in a dry pan or with a tiny bit of ghee until crisp.
  2. In a bowl, mix onion, tomato (not in night), chili, cucumber.
  3. Add roasted makhana.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala (not in night), black salt, pepper.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice(not in night), toss well.
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve immediately.
