samak idli :Ingredients
- Samak rice (barnyard millet): 1 cup
- Sabudana (sago): 1/2 cup
- Green chilies: 1-2
- Ginger: 1-inch piece
- Salt: To taste
- Water: As needed
Instructions
- Soak samak rice and sabudana: Soak both for 4-5 hours or overnight.
- Grind the mixture: Blend soaked samak rice, sabudana, green chilies, and ginger into a smooth batter.
- Add salt and water: Mix well to achieve the right consistency.
- Steam the idlis: Pour the batter into idli molds and steam for 15-20 minutes.
