saffron kadha for cough
Ingredients
- Saffron threads: A few strands (about 3-4)
- Ginger: 1-inch piece, grated
- Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Water: 1 cup (250 ml)
Instructions
- Boil the water: Bring the water to a boil.
- Add ingredients: Add the grated ginger, turmeric, and black pepper to the boiling water.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Add saffron: Add the saffron threads to the kadha and simmer for another minute.
- Strain and serve: Strain the kadha into a cup.
