saffron kadha for cough

Ingredients

  1. Saffron threads: A few strands (about 3-4)
  2. Ginger: 1-inch piece, grated
  3. Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Water: 1 cup (250 ml)

 

Instructions

  1. Boil the water: Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add ingredients: Add the grated ginger, turmeric, and black pepper to the boiling water.
  3. Simmer: Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add saffron: Add the saffron threads to the kadha and simmer for another minute.
  5. Strain and serve: Strain the kadha into a cup.
