Sabudana Khichdi:

 

Ingredients

– 1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls)

– 2 cups water

– 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

– 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander

– Salt to taste

– Optional: veggies

 

Instructions

  1. Soak sabudana: Soak sabudana in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  2. Heat ghee or oil: Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  3. Add sabudana: Add drained sabudana and stir well.
  4. Add spices: Add ground cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cook: Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until sabudana is tender and fluffy.
  6. Serve: Serve hot, garnished .
