ROTI POHA  RECIPE

Ingredients

  • Leftover rotis/Indian flat bread – 2
  • Onion/pyaz -1 small sized chopped
  • Green chili/Hari mirch – 1 chopped
  • Ginger – 1/2 inch piece grated
  • Roasted peanuts/moongfali – a handful
  • Coriander leaves/Dhaniya patta – a hand full chopped
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Lemon – 1/2
  • Mustard seeds/Rai – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric/Haldi powder – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Oil – 2 Tablespoon

STEPS

  1. Crush the roti in grinder to make a coarse powder.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, green chilli, grayed ginger and curry leaves to it.
  3. Add chopped potato and saute it. Add little salt and mix well. Cover and cook until the potato is cooked.
  4. Then add chopped onion and saute them till they turn pinkish.
  5. Add roasted peanuts and mix well.
  6. Add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix. Then add the crushed roti in the pan. Mix all the ingredients.
  7. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well then switch off the flame.
  8. Delicious ‘Bachi Roti Ka Poha | Leftover Roti Poha’ is ready to be served. Garnish namkeen sev, boondi and serve with a cup of tea.
