ROTI POHA RECIPE
Ingredients
- Leftover rotis/Indian flat bread – 2
- Onion/pyaz -1 small sized chopped
- Green chili/Hari mirch – 1 chopped
- Ginger – 1/2 inch piece grated
- Roasted peanuts/moongfali – a handful
- Coriander leaves/Dhaniya patta – a hand full chopped
- Curry leaves – few
- Lemon – 1/2
- Mustard seeds/Rai – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Garam Masala/All spice mix – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Turmeric/Haldi powder – 1/4 Teaspoon
- Oil – 2 Tablespoon
STEPS
- Crush the roti in grinder to make a coarse powder.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, green chilli, grayed ginger and curry leaves to it.
- Add chopped potato and saute it. Add little salt and mix well. Cover and cook until the potato is cooked.
- Then add chopped onion and saute them till they turn pinkish.
- Add roasted peanuts and mix well.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix. Then add the crushed roti in the pan. Mix all the ingredients.
- Add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well then switch off the flame.
- Delicious ‘Bachi Roti Ka Poha | Leftover Roti Poha’ is ready to be served. Garnish namkeen sev, boondi and serve with a cup of tea.
