Besan Porridge Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons besan (gram flour)
- 1 cup milk or water
- 1 tablespoon sugar or jaggery
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 teaspoon seeds powder
- 1 teaspoon ghee
- Chopped makhna roasted
Instructions1. Roast besan: Dry-roast besan in a pan until fragrant and lightly browned.
- Mix with liquid: Whisk roasted besan with milk or water to make a smooth batter.
- Add sugar and spices: Mix in sugar/ jaggery , cardamom powder, and seeds powder (if using).
- Cook the mixture: Heat ghee or oil in a pan and pour the batter. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Garnish and serve: Top with chopped makhana . Serve warm.
