Ingredients 1/2 kg cucumbers 1/2 tsp salt 1 no lime juice ½ tsp oil A pinch of turmeric powder Few coriander leaves For seasoning: 1/2 tsp channa dal A pinch of asafoetida 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 3 red chilies 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds 3 green chilies
Peel and finely chop the cucumber. Mix with salt and turmeric in a bowl, set aside for 15 minutes and then squeeze out the excess water. Heats oil in a pan and sauté seasoning ingredients. Grind the sauté ingredients till a fine paste is obtained. Mix the paste and the chopped cucumber till well combined in the end adds lime juice. Serve the chutney garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
